A Visit from the Select Board
A few weeks ago, we wrote letters to the Brattleboro select board containing our thoughts about the safety and services provided in West Brattleboro. Yesterday, David Gartenstein, the chair of the select board, came to visit. He thanked us for the letters and told us about his job and about projects that are happening in Brattleboro to make our town better.

Can you make static electricity?
My claim is that you can make electrostatic force. I know that if you rub a balloon against a piece of cloth, you will make electrostatic force. I saw someone use electrostatic force with me. We rubbed a balloon against his hair and put it in confetti and it picked up 100 pieces of confetti. However the next time we did it, picked up 120 pieces of confetti. Therefore that is how you can make more negative charges to make electrostatic force.
