Bottle Rockets (6th Grade)

The sixth graders watched as Mr. Cummings launched some bottle rockets. They kept track of the amount of water in the bottle and the air pressure. They also used an altimeter to find the height of the rocket's flight each time. Actually, they haven't yet found the flight height. They'll have to draw some similar triangles and use some scaling to find the height.

Second Graders Plant a Flower Garden for Pollinators

The second graders raised over $100 at the Farmers' Market this past Saturday by selling vegetable plants they had grown from seeds. They used this money to buy perennial flowers to provide food for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Here they are at the farmers' market selling plants and then at our school planting their garden.
