Designing Magnetometers

Here we are designing devices to detect magnetic fields on Mars!  We'll be testing our final prototypes on Wednesday.

We can make a can move without touching it!

Yes, we used static electricity to do it.

Can you make static electricity?

     My claim is that you can make electrostatic force.  I know that if you rub a balloon against a piece of cloth, you will make electrostatic force.  I saw someone use electrostatic force with me.  We rubbed a balloon against his hair and put it in confetti and it picked up 100 pieces of confetti.  However the next time we did it, picked up 120 pieces of confetti.  Therefore that is how you can make more negative charges to make electrostatic force.
