Ancient Egyptian Movies

After researching and learning so much about ancient Egypt, we each wrote a narrative about the journey through the underworld and then made movies of parts of the stories.  Here they are at last!

Maddie's Last Day

Last Wednesday was Maddie's last day with us.  We gave her a gift to remember us by and had a little celebration to thank her for working with us this semester.

Apple Mummies

Did you know that the ancient Egyptians used salt to preserve their bodies before burial?  We wanted to investigate this ourselves, so we covered some apple slices in salt.  We're going to wait a few weeks and compare these apple slices to some others that were not buried in salt.
